In June 1991 four members of the Entertainers said goodbye to the band and hello to DINK PERRY, lead vocalist of The Breeze Band to form what is now THE BREEZE. This 7 piece high powered musical/performance band has captured rave reviews with their energy and absolute versatility. With 6 lead vocalist, a great rhythm and horn
section, this band entertains you with the best in Top 40, Beach, and Show! The
versatility of the band has landed them the opportunity to perform as the
opening band for concerts with Delbert McClinton (Charlotte,NC), Nascar opening
ceremonies (Daytona Beach,Fla.), and Lou Rawls (Greenville,NC) (Wilmington,NC),

as well as concerts, dance clubs, corporate and private parties all over the

The BREEZE is one of the Southeast's most recognized bands. Their material and willingness to please audiences everywhere they go is their biggest asset! This self-contained powerhouse utilizes state-of-the-art sound and lights at all venues. The BREEZE has the some of the best vocals of any band they've seen says club owners and fans up and down the east coast. Them going out into crowds and singing their acappella renditions of Huey Lewis's (It's Alright), People Get Ready (Breeze CD Something Serious) and So Fine has everyone talking! The BREEZE has taken their strong writing and arranging talents and turned them into the first new BREEZE CD, SOMETHING SERIOUS 1995. In 1996 they came out with their second CD, SECOND WIND, which won the number one Beach song and Broadcast song of the year at the 96 Cammy Awards. They finished their third CD...BY REQUEST in June of 1999, and did a Christmas CD in Nov. of 1999. JOHN FRANKLIN: Lead and background vocals, trombone, keyboard, bass guitar. Graduated from USC with a degree in Music. Songwriter and arranger, wrote and sung The Breeze's first single "BABYGIRL". HUGH BLANTON: Bass Guitar, Guitar, Lead and background vocals. This versatile musician played on all of the Entertainer's early recordings and sung the song of the year hit "TRICKLE TRICKLE" in 1996. Backbone of the rhythm section. CHARLES BONE: Lead and background vocals, multi-keyboardist. This keyboard extrordinaire traveled to
RICHARD ROBERTSON: Lead and background vocals, trumpet, keyboards. This USC graduate arranges and writes horn charts and vocal arrangements for The Breeze (recording and live) as well as other bands up and down the East Coast. JEFF MORRIS: Drummer. This musician has been playing drums since he was 14 yrs. old and is recognized as one of the best drummers live and in the studio! FRAND SCIANDRA: Guitar Player. Lead and Background vocals.
